Chris Campbell, CAI Promotional Director since mid-June 2005, comes to CAI as a cradle Catholic; having been brought up in the Church and attend 11 years of Catholic school. Despite this, he realized that he was very much a comfortable Catholic. He accepted Church teaching without much background as to why.

This changed when looking into a politically oriented website a few years ago, he was in for a rude awakening. Having come from a family with various denominations, he was aware that anti-Catholicism was alive and well. This site, though, was beyond belief. In brief, this site promoted Jack Chick and others wild fantasies and alternate histories. A world where the Catholic Church was responsible for every evil and bad thing in the world, save natural disasters (yet). Chris began to debate and refute these charges, but realized he had not the full training in his own faith. Chris also would learn never to continue to argue with unstable men (Jas 1:7-8; 2Pet 3:16).

After failing to get anywhere and becoming angry and frustrated, Chris happened onto Catholic Answers website. This was a lifesaver, educating Chris in many topics. He eventually read almost every article of every This Rock edition on the site!!

Chris would eventually find and read CAI’s site. Chris liked the straight forward approach to apologetics and the uncompromising attitude of Robert Sungenis. His articles and writings are a good in-depth approach to apologetics, both inside and outside the Church. Before we can fully defend the faith to non-Catholics, Chris has long held we need to clean our own house. Chris has been a member a many parishes over the years, witnessing first hand the onward march of Modernism and deception in and against the Church. Chris has had the pleasure of being for a time a member of a Ruthenian Rite Church.

Chris is an active member of a traditionally minded Roman Rite Church and enjoys reading, studying and family. Chris is currently (2004-2006) Chairman of the Constitution Party of NC. Chris looks forward to continuing his work with CAI and is proud to be a member of this much needed apostolate. Catholics have been called to a mature faith and Chris looks forward to his daily walk in this endeavor.
