Apologetics Study Bible
The Catholic Apologetics Study Bible (CASB) is unlike any bible
you've ever read. Authored by Robert A. Sungenis, Ph.D., the CASB is the
first and only traditional Catholic bible to produce the following features:
** With over 500 pages, Vol. II, The Apocalypse of St. John, the CASB has the most extensive biblical commentary of any
bible on the market. Its footnotes, which take up one-half to two-thirds
of each page, give a verse-by-verse analysis of the biblical text. They
contain important historical, geographic, political, etymological, and
doctrinal information that is essential when seeking to understand the
biblical text.
** The CASB, The Apocalypse of St. John comes in either paperback or a Smyth-sown, hardback book with quality 60lb paper. Its cover contains a beautiful picture of "Christ in Majesty" courtesy of the Basilical of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The CASB biblical text and apologetics appendices are written in Times New Roman 11-point font for easy legibility, and the footnotes in 10-point font. This is in contrast to many other bibles whose print is too small to read. The CASB marks off every new biblical topic with informative headings for easier reading and comprehension. The CASB puts Old Testament quotations in italic font, and double indents larger quotes. The CASB biblical text has the most scriptural cross-references of any Bible on the market. Last but not least, the CASB leaves sufficient room for your own personal notes at the end of each biblical chapter and apologetics appendix. All in all, the CASB has a very "clean" look.
